Toxic Parrot Foods

Q1. Would you give your bird rubber stabiliser or a pesticide to eat?

A. I'm hoping you said no, but 90% of parrot food pellet manufacturers have these lethal ingredients You can look them up by their names as: Ethoxyquin, BHA, BHT.

Q2. Would you feed your bird an ingredient that has a warning that reads "Person who handles needs to wear protective outfit, gloves, mask and glasses!?!"

A. I didn't think so. But if you buy parrot pellet food, and it has the ingredient "Menadione", then it will carry that very warning.

Q3. Would your child be well behaved if he/she drank a 6 pack of soda LOADED with sugar every day?

A. No your child would be hyper as hell, and not really
calm and well behaved. This could be why parrots often show aggression.

Basically if the food you feed your parrots has any sort of colouring to it, you are dumping loads of sugar into your birds body, and with all the overweight problems, diabetes, and a host of other diseases excess sugar can cause, I don't think you'd want to feed it to your parrot.

We all know the saying "You are what you eat"

Well our birds are what we give them to eat, so please be sure it is clean and safe.
